A Collection of Five Vintage German Harmonicas by M. Hohner and F.A. Böhm - This lot comprises five vintage harmonicas manufactured in Germany, including four models by M. Hohner and one by F.A. Böhm. The M. Hohner examples feature a Super Chromonica chromatic model with a side-mounted slide button and embossed scrollwork, accompanied by its original red and black patterned cardboard box. Two curved tremolo harmonicas are included: one with maroon-painted cover plates decorated with silver-toned floral designs, and another with a silver-toned finish. Both curved instruments are stamped with M. Hohner trademarks and international exhibition medallions from Geneva 1927, Philadelphia 1926, Paris 1937, and Chicago 1893. A larger rectangular format M. Hohner harmonica is marked in the key of F and features two groups of six circular perforations on its cover plates. The F.A. Böhm harmonica is a straight-sided model with rounded ends, engraved with the maker name, the phrase The best made, and a maritime trademark depicting a three-masted ship.
