A Collection of Vintage 1990s Phonecards and Trading Cards including James Bond GoldenEye and Star Trek Deep Space Nine - This lot comprises a diverse collection of vintage telecommunications phonecards and franchise-themed trading cards dating from the mid-1990s. The collection is primarily focused on the James Bond film GoldenEye (1995) and the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The James Bond GoldenEye portion includes a series of British Telecom (BT) phonecards featuring denominations of £2, £3, £4, £5, £6, and £7. These cards depict promotional stills and character portraits of James Bond (Pierce Brosnan), Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), and Natalya Simonova (Izabella Scorupco). Also included is a 10-unit chip-based Callcard from Telecom Eireann featuring film artwork and copyright dates for 1995. The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine section contains a series of character-based trading cards, resembling the 1993 Skybox series, with photographic portraits of Captain Benjamin Sisko, Major Kira Nerys, Doctor Julian Bashir, Quark, Lieutenant Jadzia Dax, Chief Miles O'Brien, and Security Chief Odo.
