Large Oval Banded Amethyst Cabochon Brooch in a Beaded White Metal Mount - An oval brooch featuring a large cabochon cut amethyst. The gemstone is a banded or chevron variety, displaying distinct purple and white quartz colour zones and natural internal crystalline structures. The stone is secured in a bezel setting within a white metal frame, which is finished with a decorative beaded outer border. The reverse of the brooch is fitted with a simple C-clasp and a long pin mechanism. The pin extends slightly beyond the width of the brooch frame. No maker marks or hallmarks are visible on the piece.
