A Trio of First World War Era Trench Art Frames and a Turned Wooden Truncheon - A collection of three early 20th-century items comprising two trench art photograph frames and a turned wooden truncheon. The first frame is of rectangular brass construction with a circular aperture, featuring the embossed word MIZPAH above a pair of crossed ivy leaves. It contains an original period sepia photograph of two women. The second frame consists of a copper plate with a circular aperture, decorated with two applied brass rifle cartridges of .303 calibre in a crossed configuration. This frame contains a period photograph depicting a British soldier in service dress alongside a seated woman and retains its original wire-form strut stand to the reverse. The truncheon is crafted from turned hardwood with a bulbous striking end and a handle featuring deep horizontal ribbing for grip, terminating in a rounded pommel.
