A Trio of Decorative Wooden Boxes Including a Deep Relief Carved Dragon Box and a Signed Painted Box - A trio of decorative wooden boxes consisting of a large hardwood box, a signed hand-painted box, and an inlaid vanity box. The largest box features high-relief carving to the lid depicting a dragon with inset red bead eyes, bordered by a repeating geometric pattern and bamboo-style carved edges. The second item is a smaller hinged wooden box, the lid hand-painted with a depiction of a bird and floral sprigs, signed in the upper left corner J. Raphael. This box contains an assortment of miniature carved architectural models and vessels. The third item is a dark wood vanity box featuring mother-of-pearl floral inlay to the lid, opening to reveal a fitted interior mirror and a matching wooden comb set against a red fabric lining.
