A Pair of Vintage Cast Brass Relief Ashtrays Featuring 17th-Century Military Figures - A matching pair of circular ashtrays manufactured from solid cast brass. The central field of each ashtray is decorated with a raised relief scene depicting five military figures in seventeenth-century European costume, including pikemen and infantrymen. The wide rim is ornamented with a repetitive foliate scroll pattern and features three integrated rests positioned equidistantly around the circumference. The underside of each piece has a rough, pitted texture characteristic of the sand-casting process. There are no visible maker's marks or stamps. Diameter: 11.5 cm.
