An Assortment of Vintage and Antique Metalwork and Decorative Objects including a Marine Telescope, a Brass Hand Bell, and Figural Sculptures - This collection features a variety of antique and vintage decorative and household objects. Included is a single-draw handheld marine telescope featuring brass fittings and a main barrel finished in faux-tortoiseshell celluloid. The top brass ring is engraved with the name MARINER. There is a large traditional school or table bell made of cast brass with a turned wooden handle; the shoulder of the bell is cast with the numeral 12. The group also contains a classical-style door knocker in the form of a lion mask holding a ring, cast in brass or bronze with a heavy green verdigris patina and three mounting holes. A lever-action nutcracker is present, constructed with cast brass jaws and turned wooden handles. Completing the lot are two abstract figurative sculptures in a textured dark metal finish; one depicts a figure in a dynamic gymnastic pose over a horizontal base and the other shows an elongated couple in an embrace.
