A Set of Six Cristal d'Arques Chenonceaux Lead Crystal Brandy Balloons - A set of six lead crystal brandy balloons produced by Cristal d'Arques, France, in the Chenonceaux pattern. Each snifter is constructed from full lead crystal with a lead content of over 24 per cent, as confirmed by the original gold foil labels remaining on each glass which read cristal d'arques FRANCE, GARANTI PLUS DE 24 % DE PLOMB, GENUINE LEAD CRYSTAL, and ECHT BLEIKRISTALL 24% PbO. The design comprises a wide bowl with a diamond-cut pattern to the lower portion, supported by a short faceted stem and a circular foot. The set is contained within its original blue cardboard box with a red plastic moulded insert. The box is labelled 6 Chenonceaux 32 cl and cristal d'arques. Capacity: 32 cl Height: 12.5 cm.
