One bobbin is constructed from clear glass featuring internal trailing decoration. A significant portion of the collection is spangled with wire loops supporting a variety of glass, ceramic, and plastic beads, including square-cut and Vaseline-style examples. Several bobbins bear handwritten or stamped inscriptions, including Freed after 1943 day..., CHERRY, LINCOLNSHIRE LACEMAKERS, SHERYL, and MAS.
