Lorna Bailey Good Catch Cat Figurine - A Lorna Bailey ceramic figurine titled Good Catch. The stylised, anthropomorphic cat creature features panda-style black eye patches, a blue muzzle, and a bright red tongue licking its cheek. The figure is depicted clutching a small pink fish in its black paws. The reverse of the figurine is decorated with bold, vertical alternating red and black stripes against a white ground. The piece is finished in a high-gloss lead glaze with hand-painted polychrome decoration typical of the artist's work for the Old Ellgreave Pottery. The unglazed base is hand-signed in black script Lorna Bailey and includes a small hand-painted cc mark. Height: 14 cm.
