A Cased Set of Brass Metric Precision Weights - A set of metric laboratory weights housed in a rectangular mahogany case with a hinged lid and two brass hook-and-eye latches. The weights are constructed from turned brass with knob handles, featuring various verification stamps including a crown symbol, the number 34 within a shield-shaped border, and the letter B. The largest weight is stamped with 200g, followed by 100g, 50g, and two 20g weights. Smaller brass weights are marked 10, 5, 2, 2, and 1. The interior of the case is fitted with recessed compartments lined in purple velvet, and a glass-covered compartment contains several fractional foil weights. The lid features corresponding circular cutouts to protect the weights when closed. Length: 19 cm.
