A Rank Precision Industries 8mm Movie Titler and Film Reel - A vintage 8mm movie titling kit and separate film reel. The titler comprises a silver painted metal foldable frame with a Title Framer window and a spring-loaded clamping mechanism. The set includes an original cardboard box with a blue and white adhesive label featuring the Rank man with the gong logo and reading A PRODUCT OF RANK PRECISION INDUSTRIES LTD MITCHELDEAN GLOUCESTERSHIRE MADE IN ENGLAND. A paper packet is included, printed in red reading TITLE CARDS FOR USE WITH G.B.-Bell & Howell 8mm CINE CAMERA MOVIE TITLER, containing twelve original cards. The kit is housed in a black leatherette carrying case. Also included is a separate vintage metal film reel containing 8mm film stock, stored within a circular metal film tin featuring a perforated centre. The wooden ruler indicates the titler assembly measures approximately 17.8 cm in length when folded. Length: 17.8 cm.
