A Wooden Royal Marines O Squadron 43 Commando Wall Plaque - A shield-shaped wooden wall plaque featuring a hand-painted relief crest for O Squadron, 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines. The central escutcheon is divided vertically into red and yellow bands, superimposed with a black circular field containing a gold radiation trefoil symbol. This is encircled by a green snake biting its own tail, an ouroboros, with a vertical Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger positioned centrally over the design. Below the shield is a curved, gilded banner with black lettering reading O SQUADRON 43 COMMANDO. The reverse of the wooden shield features a white plastic recessed hanging bracket and a faint pencil inscription reading O Squad followed by several indistinguishable marks. Width: 15 cm.
