A Cloisonne Enamel Floral Bowl On Carved Wood Stand - A Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl of compressed globular form with an inverted rim, presented on a dark wood stand. The bowl features a dense black ground decorated with a repeating brass wire cloud-scroll pattern. The exterior and interior are ornamented with large blossoming lotus flowers in shades of pink, white, and blue, set among green and blue foliage. A decorative border at the shoulder consists of scrolling ruyi motifs in yellow, blue, and pink on a lime-green ground. The bowl is constructed from a copper-based alloy with gilded rims. The underside is finished with a flat cobalt blue enamel base. The associated dark wood stand features a circular stepped design with three carved feet. Diameter: 12.7 cm.
