Bidspirit auction | A Plastic and Wood Bedford

A Plastic and Wood Bedford Vans Advertising Sign - A vintage rectangular advertising sign for Bedford Vans. The sign comprises a translucent white plastic face mounted within a mitred yellow pine wooden frame. The brand name BEDFORD is rendered in large, three-dimensional raised block letters finished in dark red, positioned above the secondary text VANS which is applied in smaller flat red lettering. The sign face exhibits a mottled texture with areas of yellowing and surface staining, particularly concentrated towards the edges. The wooden frame is constructed from light-coloured timber with visible natural knots and a simple stained finish. The reverse of the sign shows the recessed back of the wooden frame and the underside of the plastic panel. No maker marks or manufacturing labels are visible on the front or reverse. No Postage Available.
