Stan Hoffman was the nephew of crime lord Meyer Lansky, the man who invented Las Vegas as a gambling mecca by building the first hotel in the Nevada desert.

Stan Hoffman was a music producer who worked with Fats Domino and Chuck Berry. Stan was the producer who talked Chuck Berry into recording a song he didn't want to do and earning him a fortune on the back of seven-million sales worldwide -My Ding A Ling.

Stan Hoffman managed, advised and/or promoted 38 world champions during his nearly 50 years in the boxing industry, ? according to the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame in conjunction with Hoffmans induction with the class of 2019.

Framed Paul Giovanopolous art lot, including hand-signed lithograph of town/village etching and hand-drawn sketch/etching of man sleeping 1960s/70s. Artist Paul Giovanopolous (Macedonian, born 1939) is a renowned illustrator and abstract artist who began as a commercial magazine illustrator in the 1960s and has a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators and has been widely exhibited. The chrome-framed (10 inches by 10.5 inches) lithograph engraving is of a small country village and is yellowed with age (from the 1960s/70s) and hand pencil signed by the artist. The hand-drawn pen and ink sketch (15 inches x12.5 inches, matted in frame) is a remarkable unseen piece signed by the artist and titled “The Creek 238” featuring a young man sleeping in a chair in front of the “Middlesex County Silent Club, ” featuring his detailed cross-hatching and line work, also from the 1960s/70s.There is foxing as noted in the images.
