The Greatest Show on Earth, advertising chromolithographic poster for the Thoroughbred Horse Vs Swiftest Runner contested race. Featuring portraits of Phineas Taylor Barnum, 5 Jul 1810 - 7 Apr 1891, and James Anthony Bailey, 1847 – 1906. Printed c. 1881-1891 by The Strobridge Lithography Company ( 1867 – 1961). Authentic, professionally preserved, ephemera of 125+ years old. Center crease, wear, and areas of split are repaired, additional age-related paper changes and light tanning are noted. This print is stabilized with conservation backing and linen, framed conservatively. Framed Size: 41.5 x 31.5 inches.-THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST
