Four Freedoms Prints Set ( 1943) by Norman Rockwell (1894-1978)Set of four framed and matted 1943 Norman Rockwell WWII era posters, color lithograph prints featuring paintings from the Saturday Evening Post. Included are OWI Poster No. 43 “Save Freedom of Worship”, OWI Poster No. 44 “Save Freedom of Speech”, OWI Poster No. 45 “Freedom From Want”, and OWI Poster No. 46 “Freedom From Fear”.In 1941, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt articulated his vision for a postwar world founded on four basic human freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Norman Rockwell was inspired to recreate these freedoms in his art. In 1943 the Office of War Information printed copies to raise money for the war effort. The original artwork - The Four Freedoms - are now part of the permanent collection of Norman Rockwell Museum and reside in their own specially designed gallery space, inviting visitors to reflect on their inspiring message.Size: 47.5 inches X 35 inches.
