20th C French Military Ammo Pouch w/ German Radio Card
Military use French-made ammo pouch, circa early 20th century ( WW1 ) Marked - Societe Generale de Fournitures Militaires Paris 1890 - on the front of the leather pouch, beneath the flap. Authentic patterns of use and wear, bodyside of the pouch with belt loops shows less aging and patina, exposed side with flap has the great authentic look of a battle-worn item. The letter – E - can be seen on the lower right of the pouch and may have marked the Initial of the soldier who wore it. Inside are two compartments, in the smaller narrow flap, a German Language Radio Operators Alphabet Card from circa WW 2 was discovered. The items are being offered together as discovered. Pouch 7 x 7 x 8 inches. Card celluloid over metal 2.5 x 1.5 inches.
