Terracotta Relief Roundel : head of della Robbia
The central decoration on this roundel is the head of Luca della Robbia. Formerly part of a prominent NY Estate Garden as an homage to both the ancient gardens of Greece and Italy as well as the remarkable contributions to the terracotta techniques perfected by della Robbia during The Renaissance period of art advancements. Antique, unique, and authentic, having been removed from an entirely terracotta building prior to installation in a Garden. Condition: weathered and aged with small chips and cracks. Please observe the photos. 22-inch diameter with an approximate depth of up to 17 inches.
