A selection of Five (5) Japanese woodblock print books from the Showa period or earlier will be presented. These books are from the Ethel Traphagen (1882-1963) Collection. Ethel Traphagen was the founder of the Traphagen School of Fashion (1923-1991).

This is a no-reserve auction and items can be shipped worldwide.

Approximately 100 color woodblock prints. The overall condition is good, mixed rice, silk, natural fiber pages are attached to the binding.  The color is vibrant. Water staining on several pages.  Edge wear, and tanning of paper. The book measures 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches.
