This book was owned by Eugenie Pichon a fine jeweler who worked in the Art Nouveau Style and was awarded a commission to make a gold and ivory presentation box presented to ( Henry T. Oxnard) The true story of the United States of America book by Eldridge S Brooks illustrated. Copyright 1897. Shows minor wear. This book was owned by Robert Krogstad (Henry T. Oxnard). Krogstad served as a Brigadier General under General Douglas MacArthur the Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in the Southwest Pacific also served under General Omar Bradley
