A Capodimonte Bisque Porcelain Figurine of a Clown and Dog - A hand-painted bisque porcelain figurine depicting a Pierrot-style clown and a dog, produced in the Capodimonte tradition. The clown is modelled in a dynamic, low-crouched pose, wearing a white costume featuring a large ruffled collar and black pom-pom details. A white dog with brown spotted markings is positioned interacting with the clown, appearing to balance on his back. The figure is mounted on a polished rectangular wooden plinth with a mahogany-coloured finish. The porcelain base bears a blue underglaze mark consisting of a five-pointed crown above a capital letter N. The base is further inscribed with a cursive signature reading F. Duerri and an incised mark stating © 1983 COPYRIGHT. An inventory label marked 12703 / P is present on the wooden base alongside a small gold foil label. Base length: 25 cm Overall height: 22 cm.
