A Pair of La Genziana Italian Glazed Earthenware Floral Decorative Vessels - A pair of Italian glazed earthenware decorative vessels by the La Genziana factory. The collection comprises a tall lidded ewer and a twin-handled lidded urn, both executed in a Rococo-revival style. The cream-glazed bodies are embellished with elaborate hand-modelled polychrome floral appliqués, featuring poppies and daisies amongst green foliage. The vessels are further detailed with hand-painted gilt highlights to the scrolling handles, pedestal bases, and finials. The underside of the bases bears the handwritten mark in black script: F.37, ITALY, LA GENZIANA. Tall Ewer: 35 cm height Twin-handled Urn: 23 cm height.
