A Collection of Dinky Toys and Crescent Toys Die-cast Model Aircraft - A collection of eight vintage die-cast metal toy airplanes, primarily manufactured by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) in England during the pre-war and early post-war periods, along with one identified model by Crescent Toys. The collection includes a Dinky Toys No. 62n Mayo Composite Aircraft set, consisting of the Maia flying boat (marked with civil registration G-ADHK) and the Mercury seaplane. Other identified Dinky Toys models comprise a No. 62g Long Range Bomber, a No. 62k Twin Engined Fighter, a No. 72b Hawker Tempest II with RAF roundel decals, a No. 62h De Havilland Comet Racer, and a No. 62s Hawker Hurricane. The group also features a yellow monoplane bearing the Crescent Toys mark and a small red monoplane of similar period construction. All items are manufactured from die-cast zamac.
