The set features a streamlined red car constructed from painted tinplate, featuring a clockwork mechanism with a winding aperture on the roof and a coil-spring front bumper. The remote steering system comprises a flexible red cable that connects the vehicle to a tabletop control console. This console is equipped with a black plastic steering wheel, a wooden knob, a metal winding key, and twelve coloured wooden marker posts, comprising four red, four yellow, and four green cylinders used for creating obstacle courses. The original illustrated cardboard box is present, with the lid featuring the Schuco brand mark in red script, the model name, and 4-Speed-Gear designation. The toy is in working order.
