Kosuge Record Holder Clockwork Land Speed Record Car - A vintage clockwork racing car produced by Kosuge, Japan, styled after a land speed record vehicle. The toy is constructed from blue lithographed tinplate and features a fixed clockwork winding key on the side. It is fitted with black plastic or rubber wheels. Distinguishing marks include the word FOREIGN printed on the lower side of the body, a Union Jack decal on the tail fin, and a crossed flag decal on the nose. The toy is presented with its original pictorial cardboard box which features the title RECORD HOLDER and the KOSUGE manufacturer mark on the end flap.
