The design comprises a central circular-cut amethyst surrounded by a halo of six similar circular-cut amethysts. Each gemstone is individually held within a multi-prong claw setting, mounted upon a raised openwork gallery. The cluster is joined to a plain, tapered yellow gold shank. No hallmarks, maker's marks, or other stamps are visible on the interior or exterior of the band.
