Silver and Blue John fluorspar circular brooch - A circular brooch crafted from silver and set with a central cabochon of Blue John fluorspar. The gemstone is polished to a domed finish, showcasing natural banding of deep violet-purple and amber-yellow across a translucent base. The cabochon is secured in a silver mount with a decorative notched or serrated edge. The reverse consists of a flat silver backplate. An impressed mark reading SILVER is present on the reverse (photo 3). The brooch is fitted with a pin and a revolving safety clasp (photo 2).
