Two Antique Brass Implements Including a G & W Purser Hand Pump Sprayer - Two antique brass tools comprising a large hand-pump sprayer and a smaller handheld syringe. The larger item features a cylindrical brass barrel with a side-mounted threaded port and a dark-stained, turned wooden handle fitted to the plunger rod. The barrel is impressed with a circular manufacturer's mark reading BEST QUALITY in a curve at the top, G & W PURSER across the centre above a diamond emblem containing three initials which are not clearly legible, and MANUFACTURERS in a curve at the bottom. The smaller implement consists of a brass body with a ring-pull plunger and a long, curved application nozzle.
