A Trio of Vintage Brass Confectionery and Industrial Thermometers - A trio of vintage thermometers comprising two sugar-boiling confectionery thermometers and one industrial thermometer, all featuring brass construction. The two confectionery thermometers are designed with semi-cylindrical brass cases, integrated circular hanging loops, and protective cage guards at the base to shield the thermometer bulbs. Their etched scales cover a temperature range from approximately 60 to 600 degrees, featuring specific text markings for sugar-boiling stages including Caramel, Crack, Small Crack, Hard Ball, Soft Ball, Feather, Transpicing, and Syrup. The middle thermometer also includes a marking for Water Boils. The third item is an industrial thermometer with a flat brass backing plate and a numerical scale ranging from 100 to 210. The glass thermometer tubes on all three items are secured to their respective brass plates by metal brackets. Several white adhesive labels are present on the brass surfaces, bearing printed numbers such as 108 and 12851, which appear to be auction house inventory markers rather than original manufacturer labels. No legible maker names, brand marks, or country of origin stamps are visible on any of the items.
