A Pair of Vintage Oxidised Steel Railway Signal Lanterns - A pair of railway-style signal lanterns of rectangular box-form construction, fashioned from steel or iron. Each unit features a cylindrical ventilation stack at the top with a hinged cap and a circular glass lens to the front. The side of one lantern casing bears an embossed capital letter M. Internally, one lantern is fitted with an electrical socket containing an incandescent glass bulb. The lanterns are finished in a naturally aged, heavily oxidised patina.
