Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Kenyon's Serilight

A Pair of Kenyon's Serilight Lens No. 72 Paraffin Road Lamps - A pair of vintage metal paraffin road lamps featuring semi-cylindrical hooded tops and curved metal carrying straps. One lamp retains a red-painted finish and is embossed on the front with uppercase lettering reading KENYONS, SERILIGHT LENS, and 72 LAMP 72. This lamp includes a white-painted circular bezel around the front glass lens and a smaller red circular lens above. The second lamp features a matching construction but has a heavily oxidised, rusted surface finish with no visible embossed lettering. Both lamps are fitted with circular glass lenses to the front and sides. These items exhibit a characteristic industrial design intended for outdoor roadwork and hazard marking.
