The bodice is constructed from a sheer mesh base heavily embellished with ornate floral lace embroidery and beadwork. The lace detailing extends from the high neckline down past the waistline onto the hips in a scalloped pattern. The lower part of the dress is a draped, heavy-weight jersey-style fabric that falls into soft, vertical folds to the floor. The back has a slight racer-style shape, with a central vertical panel of matching lace embroidery following the line of the concealed zip fastener.
