George III Mahogany Bow Front Corner Cupboard - A George III mahogany bow-fronted corner cupboard of floor-standing form. The piece is constructed with a single large curved door featuring a dark mahogany finish with a vertical grain. The door is hung on two external brass strap hinges and is fitted with a small brass knob and a lock mechanism. The interior is fitted with three fixed shelves, each featuring a decoratively scalloped front edge. The interior wood shows an aged finish with evidence of historic green staining to the reverse of the door. The cupboard sits on a simple curved plinth base. This is a single-piece unit.
