The case is constructed with figured wood veneer in a rounded rectangular bentwood form. A decorative geometric marquetry border is inlaid to the top panel, which is fitted with a central turned wooden handle mounted on metal brackets. The case is currently locked with no key, but contains a sewing machine inside.
