A Collection of Vintage and Modern Hand Tools in Assorted Chests and Containers - A large workshop lot comprising a diverse range of hand tools, spanning the late 19th century to the modern era. The collection includes approximately four wooden moulding and joinery planes, a wooden marking gauge, a boxwood folding rule, and a Blackspur 8-piece wood carving set in original packaging. Also present are two yellow Tyson Tools C-clamps, several wooden-handled hand saws, and a metal try square. Mechanical tools include hand drills, such as eggbeater and breast-drill styles with wooden grips, a selection of open-ended spanners, wrenches, pliers, and wire cutters. Further items include two cast-metal pulleys with rope, a dusting brush, an assortment of screwdrivers with both turned wooden and plastic handles, metal files, rasps, craft knives, and a spool of solder. Miscellaneous supplies consist of sandpaper, wooden dowels, and a UK three-pin power adapter. The tools are housed in six various containers, including a large brown-painted metal chest with an internal divider, a green-painted metal box, a pale green-painted wooden chest, a small dark-stained wooden box, and two modern black plastic toolboxes. Several vintage items show evidence of maker's stamps, although these are largely obscured by patina and surface oxidation.
