A George V Birmingham Sterling Silver Photograph Frame by Deakin & Francis Ltd, 1914 - A George V sterling silver photograph frame by the silversmiths Deakin & Francis Ltd. The square-form frame features a central circular aperture currently housing a sepia-toned studio portrait of a young woman. The silver front is decorated with a raised border featuring repeating beaded and stylised foliate motifs. The silver is mounted onto a wooden backing covered in blue velvet, which is fitted with a hinged easel stand and two brass securing clips.
