Mid-20th Century Queen Anne Revival Style Teak Bureau and Matching Stool - A mid-20th century teak bureau and matching stool set, designed in the Queen Anne revival style and resembling the Windsor series of hand-carved furniture. The bureau features a fall-front lid decorated with a hand-carved floral border and recessed shell-form handles. The interior is fitted with a central small drawer and a series of pigeonholes for organisation. Both the bureau and the stool are constructed from solid teak with a honey-toned finish and are raised on slender cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The small internal drawer bears a handwritten chalk or crayon mark reading 7. The desk is fitted with brass hinges and a metal stay bar.
