A Trio of Three Military and Civilian Storage Chests including Two Empty Royal Air Force Examples - A trio of three military and civilian wooden and metal storage chests including two empty Royal Air Force examples. This lot comprises three storage items: two empty transit trunks identified to an officer and one domestic tool chest containing assorted contents. The first trunk is of rectangular wooden construction, finished in black paint with a white-painted interior. The lid is stencilled in white with FLT. LT. R. MILES. R.A.F. and retains iron hinges, a central latch, and side carrying handles. The second trunk is a sheet metal footlocker, also finished in black with a cream-painted interior, bearing identical stencilled markings to the lid. The third item is a stained wooden tool chest with a central grey metal latch and an internal divider. It is filled with a mixed assortment of vintage tools and hardware, including a tin marked UNIVERSAL Mathematical Instruments Made in England, copper plumbing components, and various hand tools.
