A Mid-Century Modern Rex Furniture Teak style Cantilever Work Box - This lot comprises a mid-century modern Rex Furniture teak style cantilever work box. The unit is constructed with wood veneer panels and features solid wooden cantilever arms and tapered square-section legs. The design incorporates a lidded upper compartment with fixed internal dividers, which pivots backwards via two wooden slats on each side to reveal a deeper, open storage base. The lid is secured with a brass-toned piano hinge and a metal folding stay. A black and white swing tag is attached to the interior, reading REX FURNITURE above a Union Jack icon and the words MADE IN ENGLAND.
