The decanter is constructed from clear glass with a diamond-cut pattern to the body and shoulders and is fitted with a matching faceted glass stopper. The silver collar is struck with a series of hallmarks including the maker's initials B & W Ltd in a rectangular cartouche, a lion passant, a leopard's head, and a lowercase letter m. The assortment of six labels includes tags for Rum, Sherry, Drambuie, Brandy, Whisky, and Gin. The Rum tag is struck with hallmarks for Birmingham, including the characters DH&S, an anchor, a lion passant, and a capital letter X. The Sherry, Brandy, and Whisky labels each bear a copyright symbol followed by the characters DJH. The labels for Drambuie and Gin do not feature any visible maker's marks or hallmarks.
