An Edwardian Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl Folding Fruit Knife - An Edwardian sterling silver and mother-of-pearl folding fruit knife. The knife features a single folding blade constructed from sterling silver, housed between two polished mother-of-pearl handle scales and secured by three metal pins. The handle is finished with a small metal bolster at the pivot end and includes an inlaid shield-shaped cartouche engraved with a script monogram reading WH. Struck into the blade is a vertical series of four marks: a crown symbol, a lion passant, a lowercase letter k within a shield-shaped border, and the letters T and M within a rectangular border. These hallmarks indicate the silver was assayed in Sheffield in the year 1902. Closed length: 8.3 cm Total open length: 14.2 cm Blade length: 5.9 cm.
