A Collection of Militaria and Maritime Items including W. and F. Faulkner Cigarette Cards and Royal Marines Insignia - A collection of militaria and maritime items including a framed set of twenty-three visible cigarette cards from the Nautical Terms Series 1 and 2 by W. and F. Faulkner Ltd., London, S.E. The cards, dating to circa 1900, are mounted in a glazed wood frame with a green mount. The lot also includes a trio of maritime copper measures, comprising one tall scoop-form vessel and two cylindrical cups, one of which is incised GILL to the exterior surface. A vintage telegraph key is present, mounted on a dark composite base with brass and steel hardware. The collection of insignia features a large, padded bullion embroidered Royal Marines sleeve badge and a brass Auxiliary Territorial Service cap badge. A pair of modern gilt-metal Royal Marines collar badges is included in a sealed plastic bag bearing a label that reads ROYAL MARINES COLLAR BADGES DATE 28/07/16 NSN 8455994165503. Further pieces include an enamel Royal British Legion Women's Section badge, a two-place ribbon bar, an English National Lourdes 1858-1958 medallion, an SS Canberra souvenir pin, and a set of Red Arrows style dog tags.
