A Collection of Mid-Century and Traditional Style Furniture including a Faux-Bamboo Table and Mahogany Wine Tables - An assortment of furniture comprising a mid-twentieth-century side table, a rush-seated stool, two tripod wine tables, a slatted hardwood coffee table, a wall shelf, and a folding rack. The side table is of square form, constructed with a faux-bamboo frame and two tiers of smoked glass. The country-style stool features a woven rush seat supported by turned legs and stretchers. Two mahogany wine tables feature circular tops with scalloped and raised rims on turned columns and tripod bases. The hardwood coffee or garden table is constructed with parallel slats on a folding X-frame. The collection is completed by a two-tier wall shelf with shaped side supports and a folding slatted rack. A small white rectangular adhesive label is fixed to one slat of the folding rack; the characters on this label are not clearly legible (photo 6). Primary woods appear to include mahogany and oak, with secondary woods including pine.
