A 2017 UK The Royal Mint House of Windsor Centenary Silver Piedfort Five Pound Coin with Presentation Case - A 2017 UK The Royal Mint silver piedfort five pound coin issued to commemorate the centenary of the House of Windsor. Struck in 925 Ag silver with a proof finish, the coin features the fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, designed by Jody Clark with initials 'J.C' visible. The obverse carries the legend 'ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · FID · DEF · 5 POUNDS'. The reverse, designed by Timothy Noad, depicts the Round Tower of Windsor Castle flying the Royal Standard, surmounted by the St Edward’s Crown and flanked by oak branches with acorns. The reverse is inscribed 'CENTENARY OF THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR · 2017'. The coin is housed in a clear protective acrylic capsule and is accompanied by a black presentation box and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
