A Trio of Silver and Gold-Plated Commemorative Coins and Medals with Jubilee Mint Presentation Case - This lot comprises three commemorative items: one silver-plated United Kingdom crown and two 24-carat gold-plated medals. The centerpiece is a United Kingdom commemorative crown dated 1972, struck in silver-plated cupro-nickel to mark a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. It features the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and a design showing the initials E and P encircled by a floral garland with a central figure of Eros on the reverse. Accompanying this are two medals plated in 24-carat gold, featuring colour photographic inserts depicting the royal couple in 1947 and 2007. The medals display a stylised heraldic floral design on the obverse with the Latin legend BRITANNIARVM ET HIBERNIAE SEPTENTRIONALIS REGNUM UNITUM.
