The coin is composed of .925 sterling silver and features selective colour application on the reverse design, which depicts the Normandy coastline and landing beaches identified as UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO, and SWORD, accompanied by the flags of the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. The obverse displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REGINA GIBRALTAR 2019. The coin is housed in a clear protective capsule within a red velvet-lined presentation box. The inner lid of the box features a gold-tone printed device and text reading Pobjoy Mint. The lot includes a white card outer sleeve and a printed Certificate of Authenticity which states the specifications as Metal Proof Sterling Silver, Diameter 27.30 mm, Weight 8.00 gms, and Issue Limit 4,950.
