A 2017 South African Mint One Ounce Fine Silver Krugerrand with Presentation Pouch and Certificate - A 2017 South African Mint one ounce fine silver Krugerrand coin issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand series. The coin is struck in .999 fine silver with a denomination of R1. The obverse displays a profile portrait of Paul Kruger with the legends SUID-AFRIKA and SOUTH AFRICA. The reverse features a springbok antelope flanked by the split date 20 17 and a circular 50 anniversary privy mark, with the legend KRUGERRAND and FYNSILWER 1 OZ FINE SILVER R1. The coin is housed in a circular plastic capsule and is accompanied by a black velvet drawstring pouch printed with a gold-tone South African Mint logo. Included is a printed Certificate of Authenticity stating a mass of 31.107g, a diameter of 38.725mm, and a limited edition of 1,000,000, bearing a printed signature for TM Tsehlo as Managing Director.
