A Pair of Britains Collectibles Memories of Steam Locomotive Display Models with Presentation Boxes - This lot comprises a pair of locomotive display models from the Memories of Steam limited edition series produced by Britains Collectibles. The models are constructed from cold cast resin and are designed as static display pieces fixed to integral ballasted track bases. The first model represents the BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 Evening Star, finished in British Railways lined green livery. It features the cab number 92220, nameplates to the smoke deflectors, and the late British Railways totem crest to the tender side. The second model represents the LNER Class A4 4-6-2 Mallard, finished in LNER Garter Blue with red-painted wheels. This locomotive bears the cab number 4468, nameplates to the streamlined boiler casing, and L N E R lettering to the tender. Both models are accompanied by their original red cardboard outer boxes, which feature an oval logo reading BRITAINS COLLECTIBLES and a central ribbon logo for MEMORIES of STEAM. The boxes are further marked with LIMITED EDITION and Cold Cast Resin Collectable Model. A small blue adhesive label reading B1205R is present on the Evening Star box. Original protective polystyrene inner packaging is included for both items.
